tex share

October 27, 2009

TexShare is a collabortation between academic and public libraries that allows library card holders to check out materials from other libraries. It is like Inter Library Loan, but you do it yourself. This great because it really gives those doing research to head over to another university and check out their stacks. You have to register for the program though, so don’t just show up thinking you can get whatever you want before you are a member of the program.

It is easy to sign up and I believe it is free. You should be able to sign up at your local institution.
